Remnants #4 - Original Painting
This painting unfolds like a visual diary of fleeting impressions and half-remembered marks. Against a textured white ground, bursts of crimson, cobalt, and golden yellow erupt with urgency, while softer washes of pink and teal provide a counterbalance. The surface feels alive with interruptions with scribbled black lines, looping gestures, and honeycomb-like grids that appear and dissolve, as if testing the boundary between order and chaos.
The energy moves horizontally, anchored by a layered band of pinks and blues, fractured with scribbles that resemble both writing and erasure. Around it, looser forms scatter across the space, evoking fragments of memory, sketches left behind, or echoes of something once whole.
It’s a work that embraces incompleteness, where presence and absence, boldness and fragility, coexist. This painting is like a study in how fragments can tell a fuller story, more than perfection ever could.
